The FIAT Ducato chassis is a very popular work vehicle in Europe, used by many special and public services.

Good suspension endurance and chassis versatility allow the FIAT Ducato to be adapted to almost any task, and the ability to install a factory-made aluminum side platform makes it possible to purchase a compact truck ready for operation.

The design of the FIAT Ducato was modeled on a computer, and pre-production samples were tested for many hours in a wind tunnel, which allowed Italian engineers to achieve the perfect combination of practicality, modern style and high performance.

The FIAT Ducato has a low drag coefficient (0.315 Cx), which reduces cabin noise to near the level of a mid-size passenger car, as well as providing additional fuel savings.

The chassis of the FIAT Ducato truck is equipped with two cab options: a three-seat single and a seven-seat double.

Both options are made in the same style of interior design, which is distinguished by practicality, a high level of ergonomics, but a rather spartan appearance.

The cab is quite comfortable, all seats are equipped with three-point seat belts, and the driver's seat additionally receives a wide range of mechanical adjustments, including height.

The double cab has four doors and a 4-seater rear row of seats.

There is not as much free space in the back row as in the front, but it will be enough for short trips within the city.

For each type of cab, two chassis lengths are available - 5943 and 6308 mm. The increase is provided by the growth of the rear overhang from 960 to 1325 mm.

We also note that when installing the factory onboard platform, the length of the FIAT Ducato will increase, respectively, to 6328 and 6693 mm.

The width of the FIAT Ducato truck is 2050 mm without the platform and 2100 mm with the platform installed.

The height of the truck, depending on the modification, is 2254 or 2270 mm.

The wheelbase is the same in all cases - 4035 mm.

The unladen weight of the chassis varies from 1760 to 2065 kg depending on the version, but in any case, the maximum permissible load on the front axle is 2100 kg, and on the rear axle - 2400 kg.
