In Ukraine, despite the war, a new automaker has appeared. The assembly of trucks of the Chinese brand Dayun has started in Kremenchuk.

At the first stage, 200 trucks will be produced, and the first 50 truck kits have already arrived from China.

According to the director of the plant, the idea to launch the production of trucks appeared after the amendments to the law "On Public Procurement" came into force.

Now the state can purchase municipal and special equipment, in which at least 10% of domestic components. The plant plans to bring localization to 40% by 2028.

The assembly of several different Dayun models has been established - with a carrying capacity of 3.5, 6, 8, 10 and 12 tons. They are equipped with Weichai turbodiesels with a capacity of 144-184 hp.

Various equipment is mounted on the chassis. Dump trucks, garbage trucks, aerial platforms, snowplows and other municipal and agricultural equipment are being prepared in Kremenchuk.

Also, its service in the service station network has been established.
